Today is the day when rumors and speculations are either going to come true making our jaws drop or get smashed to smithereens by Apple and have some run of the mill hardware upgrade announcements.
Apple’s event today starts at
08:00AM – Hawaii
10:00AM – Pacific
11:00AM – Mountain
12:00PM – Central
01:00PM – Eastern
06:00PM – London
But, more and more clues and news reports point to an Apple Tablet – iPad, iSlate, iTablet – whatever it is going to be called to be unveiled at the Apple event today.
The most recent news being that McGraw-Hill CEO last night confirmed in an interview in CNBS that Apple is announcing the tablet running on iPhone OS today.
Apple doesn’t allow any live video coverage of it’s events but that doesn’t stop invited bloggers from live blogging the event. Here are a few good links to keep your eyes peeled on as they post information as it happens with pictures from the events.

The cpu is described as a little bit newer design number but it and also the GPU are likely the same speed as the 3GS. The old Touch with the same CPU and GPU since the 3G was quicker. Apart from having the clock pace turned up higher the Contact has less software programs to run because it?s not a phone. It should do better than any iPhone to this day in performance.
