The news that AT&T has opened up it’s wi-fi hotspots to their US iPhone customers for free around the country has been buzzing around today. And this is not the first time either.
AT&T has annonuced this, taken back before. It started again this morning when someone spotted a page on AT&T’s website announcing this. But, later in the day after this news made the rounds a AT&T spokesperson has denied that they have nothing to announce yet and have pulled the incriminating page since.

Apple and AT&T have decided to close the stores early on Friday to prepare for iDay launch at 6:00PM.
AT&T stores close early around 4:00 or 4:30PM.
Apple stores close early around 2:00PM.
Not sure if it matters as people are probably in line already and or getting their sleeping bags out right now to get in the line tonight.

As important as it is to know all the available features before you make a $500-$600 purchase, it is also important to know what iPhone doesn’t offer. Not that it is going to change our materialistic obsession for a gadget, but it helps to know what won’t have in the iPhone after unwrapping it.

AT&T, formerly Cingular, has announced the service plans for the much awaited much anticipated phone of the decade. Here is the low down on it from AT&T:

AT&T pulled a surprise move contrary to the popular predictions of wallet unfriendly plans for iPhone. The basic plan with 450 minutes and unlimited web access for $59.99 is not that bad.
