Update: PwnageTool with iPhone 3GS 3.1 jailbreak is here!
Dev Team has finally succeeded in jailbreaking iPhone 3GS for 3.1.

The 2 links in his Twitter message shows you screenshots of firmware running in baseband 04.26.08 This turn seems to mean iPhone 3GS can be unlocked with Ultrasn0w.
We will be keeping our eyes peeled for official PwnageTool 3.1 for 3GS announced in Dev Team blog. Usually the Windows version ‘redsn0w for 3.1′ should follow shortly after PwnageTool.
