Have you had instances where you are trying view a landscape picture lying down? iPhone’s accelerometer turns even an landscape mode picture to portrait mode.

There are a few apps that provide a UI lock control that lets you lock orientation. For example, a ebook reader app could become annoying if it changes orientation because you are trying to read it lying down in the bed.
Quick Tip
Tap and hold anywhere on the screen to stop the Photos app from rotating the image when you rotate the phone. This lets you view your landscape UI—that’s been saved as a portrait image—in landscape.
