When you click on a link in your iPhone or iPod Touch Safari browser, it does one of two things depending on how the page was coded.
The link opens in the same window or opens in a new window.
What if you wanted to force a link to open in a new window? In your desktop you might just right click to do this. It’s the same if you wanted to copy the link.

Just tap on the link and hold it down for a second and you will see this menu pop up
