Wild West Pinball is an excellent pinball game with crisp graphics and excellent game play. If you are used to going through a couple of screens before you start playing a game, you will appreciate the simplicity in Wild West Pinball.

As soon the game loads you just tap the screen to get started. I noticed that this game had dropped from $1.99 to FREE at lunch and loaded it up. You can see I didn’t score much but I was really impressed by the way the screen zooms in the area where the ball is and then comes back down just in time so you don’t lose it.

iRiddles is an iPhone & iPod Touch app with a collection of challenging riddles.

It sometimes feels good to play a mind-numbing yet addictive games. But, there are times in the day when you need to challenge your brain and fire up those neurons.

iRiddles can help you do just that. iRiddles contains dozens of riddles in an easy to read format. The app can detect which riddle you last left off and start from there. Plus, the table of contents also makes it easy to find the riddle you want.

Also, you can shake the iPhone or iPod Touch to randomly select a riddle.

I love a game of pool and I like it enough to be playing in a 8-ball pool league (BCA) in our town.

I just recently had a chance to try out Killer Pool on our iPhone 3g and I had to share it with you. This has to be one of the best pool physics I have seen in an iPhone pool game. I used to be so addicted to Yahoo Pool at one time and now this pp has rekindled that interest again.

Killer Pool was created by Sauce Digital and they have done an excellent job in recreating the fun of this game for iPhone & iPod Touch.

Flying Aces iPhone & iPod Touch App is one of a kind. It is the first Combat Flight Simulator App in the AppStore.

Flying Aces lets you sit in the cockpit of a F-15 Eagle and simulates combat situations tracking down enemy planes and shooting them down.

You can choose 2 theaters to fly in - Desert or Ocean and the graphics are pretty cool. Once you have chosen that, you get to control the plane just like holding a steering wheel. Flying Aces uses the Accelorometer to navigate your flight according to your hand tilt.

You can choose from 3 weapons light machine gun, heavy machine gun and a air to air missile to attack enemy planes. You also can pick up ammunition, fuel, etc. on the way. Enemy planes are indicated in red and pick up items in blue in the radar.

Flying Aces offers unique flying experience with the simulator and the 3D sounds make it even better when you listen to it via the headphones.

All in all, Flying Aces is a great buy for $7.99. If you like flight simulators and combat flights, Flying Aces will certainly fill in that niche in iPhone & iPod Touch. This is some pretty cool stuff.

If you have played the arcade game, Galaga, you will absolutely love this. There are 2 versions of this game - Invazion & Invazion Project-R. The former is a little modern and Project-R is very old school.

This is the newest of the 3 games by SGN. You get to pitch a fastball or a curveball. After you get the batter out, you’d get to play and get a chance to hit homerun! This is cool as you can pitch as well bat by swinging the iPhone like a bat! It guages your speed and tells you how fast your pitch was.

iGolf

iGolf as you guessed it, lets you play golf! You actually swing the iPhone like you swing a golf club. This was really fun to play with my hubby worrying about our TV getting hit by the iPhone! It can measure the speed of your swing and tell you how far you hit the ball. You can also change clubs for different shots.

iBowl

iBowl gives a real life bowling experience. You hold your iPhone and press a ‘Bowl’ button on the screen and go through the usual bowling movement. This is by far my favorite game of the three as it completely mimics the Wii equivalent.

SGN has been making these hit games and if this trend continues and more games with better features evolve, I can see a case with wristband to secure your iPhone appearing in the market.  But, there’s still something deeply disturbing about lurching my precious iPhone in the air to get a faster shot in iBaseball. Could I be hurting it?
