Track Your iPhone AT&T Cell Minutes

Oct 15, 2009

This app is meant for US AT&T customers only. Sorry.

If you are like me, you probably are hawk-eyed about your cell phone minutes usage. I have been burnt a couple of times and those overage charges aren’t anything to write home about.

Pageonce is a nice web app that is like Netvibes for all your accounts online like bank, credit card, cell phone, etc. But, with the advent of Mint personal finance it kind of became irrelavant.

But, PageOnce has released an iPhone app named Cell Minute Tracker for AT&T. It doesn one thing and it does it well. AT&T has an app to show this but I prefer Pageonce app as it is simpler to use and it shows my current minute usage and bills due quickly.

Plus, the latest version has got Push notifications so I just need to install the app, configure it and forget about it. I get push notifications for overage charge protection and bills due, etc automatically.

If you are on a family plan or so, you will also get breakdown by family member. You can see rollover minutes, SMS use, data plan balance, etc.

  1. Hi Shriya, great post! Like you, I very much care about saving minutes. For that, I’ve also created an App called “Free Mobile2Mobile” which looks up any phone number you input to check if the user is on the AT&T network. Another great addition I think in combination with the Cell Minute Tracker app you just mentioned here.

Would you please take a look and share with me your thoughts?

A yet better app is QuickMin by Wildboom – they check your minutes balance daily and simply push it to the app icon badge. You don’t even have to log in to check your minutes.
