If you have been wanting to watch FIFA World Cup Football 2010 games on your iPhone live for free, look no further.
There are expensive solutions like SlingPlayer, EyeTV, ESPN Mobile TV that require some extra hardware or subscription for watching live TV on iPhone.
I just came across a site – Veetle.com that lets users broadcast live TV shows/movies online. Veetle.com just updated their site to HTML5 and now you can watch their videos including live streaming of World Cup 2010 soccer matches on your iPhone, iPod Touch or WiFi.
Note: The video kept dropping on 3G for me inside a building but it was far fewer drops on WiFi. YMMV.

I’ll give it a go as an emergency solution. I used to be able to watch national competitions on Justin.tv and Ustream but the quality was extra poor
